About Me...
I have been a Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Austin, Texas for 42 years, working with adult individuals and couples. I obtained my MSSW from The University of Texas at Arlington, Graduate School of Social Work in 1976. I trained as a Sex Therapist at The University of California Medical School (S.F.) Human Sexuality Program.
I am a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work., I am also a Practitioner of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Processing). I have completed training in Hypnosis through The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and have extensive training in Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. I am Co-director of The Milton H. Erickson Institute of Austin, a training institute for therapists.
I have been married 42 years, and am an avid gardener and maker of beaded jewelry.
